Job Title: Child Welfare Associate
Location: Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala
Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Child Welfare Associates for our project in Thiruvananthapuram District. In this role, you will closely engage with children and families in coastal areas, providing vital support and assistance to enhance their welfare.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct fieldwork and travel throughout project areas in Thiruvananthapuram District.
· Conduct Psychometric Assessments and provide essential Psycho - Social support to children.
· Conduct Camps and Workshops for children.
· Assess the needs and well-being of children and families in these communities.
· Implement child welfare programs and initiatives to improve their quality of life.
· Collaborate with district and local authorities to ensure the protection and well-being of children.
· Maintain detailed records and reports of your activities and findings.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry, or an MSc/MA in Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology.
Requirements:
· One year experience.
· Proficiency in Malayalam and English.
· Excellent MS Office skills.
· A strong passion for child welfare and a commitment to making a positive impact.
· Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work in diverse and challenging environments.
· Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Possession of a valid two-wheeler driver's license (having a two-wheeler is advantageous).
· Willingness to travel extensively within Thiruvananthapuram District.
Benefits:
· Rs. 2.2 - 2.7 lakh pa, commensurate to knowledge and experience.
· Petrol allowance will be provided.
