Job Title : S.T.E.M. Learning Facilitator

Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as S.T.E.M. Learning Facilitators for our project in Thiruvananthapuram District. In this role, you will engage closely with children and schools across the district, providing vital support, guidance, and resources to foster a strong foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging S.T.E.M. training sessions for children to inspire curiosity and knowledge in S.T.E.M. subjects.
- Create comprehensive reports for each program, including conducting studies and surveys to measure impact and areas for improvement.
- Provide individual and group guidance sessions to enhance students' academic and personal development in S.T.E.M.-related fields.
- Connect children with appropriate community resources and services to enhance their educational journey.
- Advocate for equitable access to S.T.E.M. resources and learning opportunities, working to remove barriers and improve systems of support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions, assessments, and progress reports.
- Participate in community outreach and education programs to promote awareness of S.T.E.M. opportunities and resources.
- Collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders to maximize the impact of S.T.E.M. education initiatives.
Qualifications
- M.Sc (Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Life Science) OR B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry/Maths/Life Science) with B.Ed
- Proficiency in Malayalam and English.
- Excellent MS Office skills.
- Strong passion for education, especially in S.T.E.M., and a commitment to positively impacting children's lives.
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work in diverse and challenging environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Possession of a valid two-wheeler driver's license (owning a two-wheeler is advantageous).
- Willingness to travel within Thiruvananthapuram District.
